Did you know that the City of Chowchilla may approve a large commercial medical waste facility that could have serious toxic emissions?

North American Power Company wants to build a medical waste facility to “treat” wastes shipped here from far and wide. They are proposing to build a facility with an autoclave and a “thermal recovery unit” – and the City has not even done an Environmental Impact Report on this potentially dangerous project.

The Planning Commission may approve this August 20th …unless the public speaks out now.
