Tell the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to DENY the Title V Clean Air Act permit to the IES incinerators! The Air District workshop will review and discuss their "Major Facility Review" permit program under Title V of the Clean Air Act which applies to many major industrial facilities that emit pollution into the air. In response to IES's continuing permit violations and strong pressure from community, health, labor, youth and environmental justice organizations and residents, the Air District has announced they may deny the new permit to the incinerators. A permit denial would be a great victory, so let's tell the Air District not to back down to pressure from polluters!
