Dear Governor Davis,

Please act now to uphold your commitment to protect the health and environment of California and Stop The Radioactive Waste Dump Proposed for Ward Valley.

As you know, the nuclear industry hopes to dump long-lasting and highly radioactive wastes primarily from nuclear power plants in unlined dirt trenches, above a large aquifer, near the Colorado River, in critical habitat for the threatened desert tortoise, on sacred Indian land.

This dump must be stopped now, as it is a threat to our health and environment and an act of environmental racism and injustice.

Please act today to withdraw the State's application to the Interior Department for the land transfer.

We need our Governor to protect our health and environment, not the profits of the nuclear power and nuclear waste industries. Please save Ward Valley and the Colorado River today.
